Qian Xia is a freelance photographer and videographer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He was born in Shanghai (China), raised in Rotterdam. At the age of six he emigrated to the Netherlands. As a kid, he always wanted to be the best version of himself. That competitive drive of being the best has carried on as he grew up. In 2016 he was traveling around Southeast Asia. During his travel, he picked up an old canon dslr and fell in love with the art of photography. In the beginning he has no clue what he was doing, but he knew that he found his passion.

He is not your average photographer. Besides capturing magical moments on camera, he specializes in fashion, events and lifestyle photography, enhanced with visual storytelling. He collects the story behind the person and portray that story through visual content. With his expertise in marketing communications, he has the knowledge and experience in social media and (personal) branding. He blends all those elements for optimal photography and videography results.

Life is short and time is the most vulnerable asset that we have in life. With today’s technology, we have the ability to stop time through the lens of our camera and reveal everything what we couldn’t see with our own naked eyes. As we grow older, our memories of amazing events of the past is what makes us feel alive, but it fades with time. Qian Xia is een freelance fotograaf en videograaf uit Rotterdam. Hij is geboren in Shanghai en op jonge leeftijd is hij naar Nederland geëmigreerd. Als kind wilde hij altijd al de beste versie van zichzelf worden. Deze competitieve drive is door de jaren heen alleen maar sterker geworden. Qian vertrekt in 2016 voor een half jaar naar Zuidoost-Azië om zijn passie en drive te vinden. Met een oude spiegelreflexcamera ontwikkelt zijn liefde en passie voor fotografie. Hij had geen flauw idee wat hij deed, maar hij wist zeker dat dit de drive is waar hij al die tijd naar op zoek was.

Qian is niet jouw doorsnee fotograaf. Het vastleggen van magische momenten gespecialiseerd in fashion, events en lifestyle fotografie met visual storytelling is wat hem zo uniek maakt. Hij zet het verhaal achter een persoon, een locatie of een gebeurtenis om in visuele content op een unieke wijze. En hier blijft het niet bij! Zijn expertise in marketing en communicatie weet hij zodanig in te zetten om de resultaten van foto- en videografie voor elk gewenste doeleinde te optimaliseren.

Het leven gaat snel, tijd vliegt voorbij en daarom is tijd kostbaar. De lens weerspiegelt het leven op een manier die we met het blote oog niet zien.
